“Thunder and Lightening have been at the shelter since July of 2012 as part of a hoarding/neglect case. They are now available for adoption and are looking forward to finding their forever homes! Thunder and Lightening cannot be housed together, because of their nature, but do like to be in the same room, so they can converse in their bird-speak. They sing and laugh, and can be quite entertaining.
Did you know? Their usual call is a monotonous and high-pitched crooning sound which they repeat 10 to 30 times. They have a second call that sounds like laughter
These doves tend to start cooing and calling at around 4:30 a.m., so they are looking for owners who are early rises and would like someone to talk to in the morning”
